The cottage is spacious, comfortable beds with quality linen, lots of seating areas. The village is famous for fishing, snorkelling, hiking, paddling. You can snorkel the reefs and see the dolphin at Tamarin Bay and Black River. There is a cleaning lady once a week.

The beautiful bay of tamarin is very near by. The beach at la preneuse is also very near wonderful for swimming both excellent for sundowners. Shops and restaurants are minutes away.. there is a wide choice of restaurants Thai, Italian, Local food, Steak houses etc.

The local bus is 200 meters away it is cheap and will take you to the capital Port Louis, to Quatres Bornes for the market, to the scenic south coast.

The village of Tamarin is famous for hiking fishing snorkelling paddling kayaking etc you may also see the dolphins every morning in the Bay of Tamarin. Tamarin is the perfect place to be based to explore Le Morne and the South of the island.
